| Plot |
| “One Night with the King” is a 2006 movie based on the book “Hadassah: One Night with the King” by Tommy Tenney and Mark Andrew Olsen. It is about the Old Testament story of a Jewish woman named Esther (Tiffany Dupont) who asks King Xerxes (Luke Goss) to help save the Jewish people from genocide. King Xerxes makes Esther his wife and queen after meeting virgins for several months. The king’s prime minister makes a plan to exterminate all of the Jews after Esther’s uncle, Mordecai, shows respect to only his God and not the king. One night Esther requests a banquet with the king and his prime minister to ask them to stop the plan. |
